Daily Reflection 4

Today I built 3 complete Wooden Bird Houses.
After that I used a hot glue gun to glue paua shells nice and tight inside of the bird houses.
The paua shells are like a bowl for the bird seeds to be kept in.
I topped it all off by sanding the bird houses so they are nice and smooth.

Daily Reflections 2

Today I've been creating designs for my birdhouses. They come in 3 colour combonations.
The first one is Pink & Green, the second one is Blue & light blue, and the third one is Black and White. The design has a wooden slope for a roof, a thin wooden pole for the bird to grab onto, and a circle hole in the front wall.

Daily Reflection 1

This is my Buisness logo for school prep.

At the very top is the buisness logo.

Underneath the logo is the buisness name, "Builder Bird".
I decided to name it that because I make Wooden bird houses.

Below at the very bottom is the slogan.
The slogan says "I can bird it".
I named the slogan "I can bird it" because its like I can build it.

How a raft works

How a raft works
A raft is an object that floats on sea that is used to carry people and items. Rafts are useful for fishing and getting from one island to another.

Everything that is built on a raft has a special part that helps the raft work. The tires on the raft help the raft float on the sea. Tires are a really useful part of a raft, and is one of the main parts of a raft

Another part of a raft is wood. Wood is another really helpful piece, you can sit on the wood and paddle. Also if your raft is built good, you won’t get wet! Rope is also helpful because it holds the raft together and tape does the same job too.

InterSchool Football Tournament

On a sunny Wednesday most of us were competing in the Gisborne Primary school Football tournament. I was a runner so I would run in the score cards. The Makauri Turf cutters was the name of the top football team, they placed second and I think they played great. The top boys team played against Sonrise in the second to last game and won! After that they played against there arch rivals Wainui, they were very close Ziggy just got that one last goal. The girls went home with a victory against Mangapapa and became the top primary school girls team in Gisborne.
